Occasionally we may ask you to fill in questionnaires or surveys whilst online. The data collected by the questionnaire or survey will only be used for the purpose stated on the form. All enquiries which contain concerns about a child’s or vulnerable adult’s safety are passed immediately to the relevant authority. Data is not retained on the web servers. If there is a risk of someone being harmed, we may have to pass some details on to the local authority or the police. Personal information provided to Family Action will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 for the purpose of providing the necessary services to you and to meet our statutory obligations.

The Family Action website may include links to other sites, not owned or managed by Family Action. We cannot be held responsible for the privacy of data collected by websites not managed by Family Action.
Family Action does not rent or sell mailing details to any third party. However, occasionally we may pass your mailing on to a third party that we think you may be interested in. We will not do this without your permission.

You may request a copy of any personal information that Family Action has about you.
Family Action does not make a charge for supplying this information and will reply within 40 days of receipt of your request. It will help us to locate your records more easily if you can tell us something about the nature of your contact with Family Action.
